ATPUSI Usulkan Tiga Program Strategis dalam Penyusunan Program Aksi Kemitraan di KSPSTK

Jakarta, 29 Agustus 2024 - Asosiasi Tenaga Perpustakaan Sekolah Indonesia (ATPUSI) kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pustakawan sekolah di seluruh Indonesia. Dalam kegiatan penyusunan program aksi kemitraan yang diselenggarakan oleh Kepala Sekolah, Pengawas Sekolah, Tenaga Kependidikan (KSPSTK), Ketua Umum Pengurus Pusat ATPUSI, Ibu Rachmawati, S.Sos., M.P., hadir sebagai perwakilan ATPUSI untuk menyampaikan usulan program strategis.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, ATPUSI mengajukan tiga program utama yang diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan melalui kerja sama dengan Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbud), seperti Balai Guru Penggerak (BGP) dan Balai Besar Guru Penggerak (BBGP).

Program pertama yang diusulkan adalah Konferensi Perpustakaan Sekolah Indonesia (KPSI), yang diharapkan menjadi ajang diskusi dan berbagi pengalaman antar pustakawan sekolah di seluruh Indonesia. Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat jejaring pustakawan dan memperluas wawasan dalam mengelola perpustakaan sekolah.

Selanjutnya, ATPUSI juga mengajukan Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Literasi Baca, yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi baca di kalangan siswa melalui peran aktif pustakawan sekolah. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dalam menghadapi tantangan literasi yang masih dihadapi oleh sebagian besar sekolah di Indonesia.

Program ketiga adalah Bimbingan Teknis (Bimtek) Peningkatan Kompetensi Berbasis Wilayah, yang merupakan pengembangan dari program ATPUSI Berbagi yang telah sukses diadakan sebelumnya. Program ini fokus pada peningkatan kompetensi pustakawan secara spesifik di masing-masing wilayah, sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik lokal.

Sebagai tindak lanjut dari penyusunan program ini, pada tanggal 5 September 2024, KSPSTK akan mengundang para Kepala Balai Guru Penggerak (BGP) dari seluruh Indonesia. ATPUSI kembali diminta untuk mempresentasikan program-program yang telah diusulkan, dengan harapan dapat memperoleh dukungan penuh dari para mitra.

Ibu Rachmawati juga menekankan pentingnya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, khususnya BGP Jawa Barat, untuk mensukseskan acara KPSI. "Kami berharap acara KPSI ini dapat didukung oleh para mitra, sehingga dapat memberikan manfaat yang nyata bagi perkembangan perpustakaan sekolah di Indonesia," ujarnya.

Diharapkan, dengan adanya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, ketiga program yang diusulkan oleh ATPUSI dapat terealisasi dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan kompetensi pustakawan sekolah di seluruh tanah air.

ATPUSI Proposes Three Strategic Programs in Partnership Action Program Development at KSPSTK

Jakarta, August 29, 2024 - The Indonesian School Librarians Association (ATPUSI) continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the competence of school librarians across Indonesia. During the partnership action program development event organized by the Heads of Schools, School Supervisors, and Education Personnel (KSPSTK), the Chairperson of the ATPUSI Central Board, Mrs. Rachmawati, S.Sos., M.P., represented ATPUSI to present several strategic program proposals.

On this occasion, ATPUSI proposed three main programs that are expected to be implemented through collaboration with the Technical Implementation Units (UPT) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud), such as the Teacher Mobilization Center (BGP) and the National Teacher Mobilization Center (BBGP).

The first proposed program is the Indonesian School Library Conference (KPSI), which is expected to serve as a platform for discussion and experience sharing among school librarians across Indonesia. This program aims to strengthen the network of librarians and expand their knowledge in managing school libraries.

Next, ATPUSI also proposed a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) Program on Reading Literacy, designed to enhance students' reading literacy skills through the active role of school librarians. This program is expected to be one of the solutions in addressing the literacy challenges still faced by many schools in Indonesia.

The third program is the Regional Competency-Based Technical Guidance (Bimtek) Program, which is an extension of the successful ATPUSI Sharing Program held previously. This program focuses on enhancing the competencies of librarians specific to each region, tailored to the local needs and characteristics.

As a follow-up to the development of these programs, on September 5, 2024, KSPSTK will invite the Heads of the Teacher Mobilization Centers (BGP) from across Indonesia. ATPUSI has been asked to present the proposed programs once again, with the hope of securing full support from the partners.

Mrs. Rachmawati also emphasized the importance of support from various parties, particularly BGP West Java, to ensure the success of the KPSI event. "We hope that the KPSI event will receive support from our partners, so it can provide tangible benefits for the development of school libraries in Indonesia," she said.

It is hoped that with the support of various parties, the three programs proposed by ATPUSI can be successfully implemented and positively impact the improvement of school librarians' competence across the country.
